Ferry ride from Cebu to Bohol

At 9 a.m. we will leave Cebu. The harbor with the ferries is not far away. At the port it looks like a big market. Many people are traveling with large packages. There are many small stalls.

The speed ferry ride to Bohol takes less than two hours. The inside area is air-conditioned and quite sterile, while the sea wind blows around your nose outside.

Arrived in Bohol, we rent new scooters (or motorbikes) in the port city of Tagbilaran and drive to a small but very nice hotel on Panglao Island. We spend the afternoon there on the hotel beach under palm trees. Well-known beaches such as Alona Beach and Virgin Beach are close at hand and can be reached at any time.
